I have not been in the markets too long as an active participant. But, in the short time I have been here, I have learned to ignore the short-term implications of news relating to single issues or even sectors in general. Call me an optimist, but I see the market being manipulated daily by the movers and shakers to generate profits from both longs and shorts. If I just stay in long, my holdings keep increasing in value beyond my wildest dreams. I can't play short term with options, etc. Not experienced or wealthy enough YET! Jim
