Jim, In fact, I look to nature, the world around us as well as human nature, for an understanding of God. The bible reflects what others have thought about God, and is useful in that respect. However, there is much dogma, and culture, that needs to be stripped away to find the core truths. Also, I accept uncertainty, where the established religions claim to have the entire truth. Skipper
