First of all, Manafort's current incarceration is because he VIOLATED THE CONDITIONS OF HIS BAIL ..... that's it for the moment .... nothing more than that.

And it has got ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with President Donald John Trump !!!

Secondly, the initial charges against Manafort have to do with him being involved with Tony Podesta, and the Podesta Group, to launder money for an Ukranian organization ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO !!!
And let's not forget that Tony Podesta is the brother of John Podesta who headed the Clinton campaign ... needless to say, the sycophantic MSM ain't highlighting that aspect !!

And, ONCE AGAIN, it has got ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with President Donald John Trump !!!

So, if Manafort does end up "facing life in jail" that's due to his own illegal activities and has got NOTHING to do with Donald Trump and Trump's 2016/2017 election campaign.

But the sycophantic, Clinton-fawning, myopic MSM will just keep on trying to do the dirt on President Donald John Trump by using the process of "guilty by association" .... what a bunch of sewer-like low-lifes .....
