If Bush did sign the 180 (as several assured me the other day he did although I never felt there was any real hard proof offered), why isn't it more readily verifiable?

It turns out that as CIC of the Armed Forces, he ordered his entire file to be released. That supercedes a 180. Dobbs was covering education for the WaPo up to two weeks ago, and is not up to speed on what happened.

There would have been a tremendous media outcry if it had not been. They spent months going after him. Did you notice the WaPo's other comment about why no one was going after Bush now?

Michael Dobbs: To be fair to the press, there was extensive discussion of Bush AWOL claims earlier this year. If more information comes out, we should report it.

Kerry has not given an interview to the press since Aug 1st. That is unprecedented in a Presidential campaign. Dobbs tells you that he can't get any cooperation from Kerry's staff. This should tell you what is going on in the Kerry camp. They are desperate.

Complaining about Bush's record at this point is not going to get you anywhere. It is old news that has been well covered.

If Bush's entire AF chain of command came out against him, as Kerry's did, you know there would be nothing else featured in the major media
