Customers won't be flocking in to buy 1xRTT handsets. Maybe there isn't much need for 1xRTT handsets, but I would kill for affordable 1xRTT laptop access, and I would think other devices that take advantage of 1xRTT speed will become popular as well. On the subject of NOK doing 1xRTT chipsets, maybe they'll eventually figure it out, but will they ever be able to compete with all these QCOM whizzbang features?
