Zonkie,
Well, I tried. Concord must be a very very small town. It has 49 businesses listed with websites, and none of them are AZNT. Concord seems to have no other services either, but the gay website indicates it as a neighbour of Scarborough, although they have no information on it for clubs, etc. I'm going to try to find and contact Les Freedman, the owner of the building, to see if they are still there. I noticed from the annual report that AZNT had only $100 cash in their Canadian bank account, so perhaps they were thinking of closing down anyway. I'll find out from head office when I phone tomorrow. I DO know that the Canadian authorities are extremely paranoid about allowing the importation of anything with medical or curative claims(probably due to our socialized medicine),and so AZNT having 'rights' to export from Brazil to Las Vegas would mean nothing to our Health Board. They always take what seems to be forever to approve anything - so perhaps AZNT just gave up the Canadian address. I would have thought though, that since there has been some implication of a creme to alleviate AIDS from AZNT, the gay community here would have tracked it down and would be aware of it. I'm going to give up spinning my wheels today, until I can phone the head office tomorrow and get something to work with for doing my DD.
Thanks a lot for the potentially very useful reverse directory you sent me. It's already bookmarked on my favorites list and will be very handy! |
