Years ago they tried to make people switch from PCs by making fun of Windows PCs. I thought they finally learned that lesson, that you don't make people switch to your product by making them look like idiots for using what you are trying to get them to switch from.

Now Subaru Outbacks are marketed with an anti-SUV message and they are extremely successful because they do it with a positive bias (and that cool Austrailian guy). If they simply made fun of SUVs they wouldn't be nearly as successful.
