"Until then it is not safe to own this stock..." I suppose that to me the stocks that are safe to own are ones I don't own. I would have previously thought Eastman Kodak was pretty safe, or Columbia/HCA, or EDS. That's just life in the fast lane. And I don't know that I've ever seen a smallcap biotech NOT get bludgeoned to a pulp at one time or another (it seems I've owned a number of them actually). It's obviously wonderful if you can call the bottom on the nose, but it's a skill I've not yet acquired. Most of my big gains have come where a stock has gone down farther than I thought, and I bought periodically on the way down. Otherwise you have the risk of twiddling your thumbs waiting for the magic number and it never shows up. Difference in philosophy I guess.
