Well, they'll threaten to, anyway. However, they've got a whole lot more suits filed against 'em than they've filed against others. In addition to the one brought by the Orthodox Congregations, there's: WellRich, suing for defamation and personal injury; Palecek and Dubrule, suing for breach of fiduciary responsibility; NexTech, suing because Mikey refused to register 144 stock whose restrictions had expired; Cynthia De Monte, the company's former PR agent, suing because she wasn't paid; and perhaps others I've momentarily forgotten. I'd do it myself--I've got a very clear case--but by now you have to take a number...

He also stiffed the accountants who prepared his 1997 10K; wonder if they're seeking legal redress as well... I'm not just making an allegation here: the company explains in an 8K filed on 31 March of this year that the "prior accountants" hadn't been paid.
