If you look at this graph (see below), that date almost marks the low in new cases for Morocco. Further, that article says that there were 10,079 cases in Morocco. As of yesterday, there were 15,443 cases. In other words, in somewhat less than three weeks, the number of cases went up by over 50%. Without knowing anything else about it, it is a little early to declare that the Moroccan experience "proves" that HCQ is effective as a prophylactic for COVID. But they ARE sitting at 7 dead per million, so all things considered, I’d rather be in Morocco if the virus is my concern. siliconinvestor.com
