Why? Ins. companies can't compete Medicare????

No, because the law does not allow a person to purchase individual insurance coverage after they become Medicare eligible.

I would prefer to have my health insurance because by the time I am eligible for Medicare Obamacare will be in full effect and it will be more difficult for Medicare patients to be seen by a physician. My physician will probably keep seeing existing patients but there is really no way to know, and for that matter he may retire.

One of the big gotchas in Obamacare is that Medicare and Medicaid patients will receive the lesser services of midlevel practitioners while privately insured individuals will receive physician care.

My insurance cannot cover her because she is Medicare aged. See above.
