Broadcom has bought themselves some time especially if they manage to sign up some other carriers to this deal.

That would be any and all carriers whose plans are dependent on Qualcomm's offending chips near-term, and to maintain its obligations and goodwill Q will be out what... 30 cents a share over 4 quarters?
