There is a much higher thing than politics and it is compassion and humanity. Let us not as a society interfere in the Schiavo family situation. Let us give them their right and the privacy they need. Instead let us convene a special session of Congress to help those who need our help. It is not the Schiavo's who need help. It is the people of NO and the people of Baghdad who need our help. The Muslims, the Arabs, the downtrodden in our society (African Americans). And we have failed them all. Where is your American pride? Where is acceptance of responsibility?
