I like your best trade. However, do not forget in your analysis of fiat currencies that the deflationary conditions existed when the money was backed by gold - not when it is simply backed by faith.
You see in my mind, the first shots across the bow will be without doubt (imo at least)inflationary. The question after that will be determined by the stock market and the FEDS response.

Today will be interesting to see the outcome of the FED meeting, based on my read, i see a minimum of a tightening bias. Whats funny, is that I believe markets sell off end of day no matter what.
