James, I am not trying to redefine the issue..I moved the issue to the worst possible scenario..Parents who publicly spank, or otherwise humiliate their children have emotional problems that need to be addressed..I agree with Cobalt Blue that foster homes are not always the best answer, to take a child who loves their parents and move them into another home is very damaging emotionally to both the parent and child..particularly when the
Parents acted in anger and it was not an ongoing issue..
