I have been interested in PRST for a few months now and recently did a search on the internet to find more information. This thread is one of the items I came up with. Very interesting how everyone has a "defendable position".

I sent for a IR pack from the company itself and it's full of very informative stuff.

For all those who seem to doubt the technology. REALY?

They may not be getting any great revenues yet but they seem to be lined up very nicely to start raking in the big bucks in a couple years. There is an analysis done by an equity research firm, Pennsylvania Merchants Group that is dated back in Nov '95. It is an update to a prior review to fill in the blanks after waiting to see the competition from the DRUPA show. There was none so it states. another conspirator?

There is also a graph of print time vs job size for the target market and the QM will cut hours off a job.

This piece of inovation is really a remarkable product concept. If it is so old and simple why didn't one of the big guys develop it first?

Now I really don't know how firm their patent position is on the plates but to use the word proprietary I think means just that.
How can one check on patents to find out what the various issued patents are?

About all this conspiracy stuff. You people must be kidding. If there is a conspiracy it is so transparant that all those involved would be holding their breath just waiting for the gig to be over.
DON'T YOU THINK THESE GUYS HAVE BEEN AROUND LONG ENOUGH NOT TO GET INTO ANYTHING SO BLAITANT? Mr Lutts, Mr & Mr Howard etc etc
They have nothing better to do? Manipulate the price of a small stock? Maybe they just see the long term future. Mr Lutts describes his investing approach as long term. If the world ends tomorrow, no way is PRST worth $65. But what about 2001. It's not that far away and a lot of ink will be put on paper between now and then.

Anyway, after reading most of the threads it's really something to see what's thought of as reasonable doubt.

I see real potential here. big deal if the price goes to $5.00 tomorrow on more news or bashing. When they turn a good profit $200.00 is not far to follow.

I am also a relatively new investor and a new internet user. The loads of information available on the internet is staggering. I never expected to find such a discussion group as the Silicon Investor. I will definely be reading more.
