ALMI: RESEARCH ALERT-Alpha Microsystems target

NEW YORK, July 7 (Reuters) - Westfalia Investments said on
Tuesday it raised its long-term price target on shares of Alpha
Microsystems to $12 from $5-3/4 over the next 12 to 18 months.
-- Research director Peter Cardillo reestablished a
short-term speculative technical buy with a near-term target of
$5-1/2.
-- "We believe the recent announcement of the acquisition
of Delta CompuTec and the commitment by ING Equity to invest up
to $20 million in Alpha Microsystems is very positive," he said
in a research note.
