You would be absolutly correct if the war on terror was a standard war... with well defined lines and participants..... In fact,it is more a war of minds than bombs.(religious extremism is a state of mind) The war on terror is not a standard war and therefore ,imho ,requires a more "sensitive" approach,if only for the sake of public relations.
