So we also agree about overseas military and the GI bill.

As for military chaplains in the states I do see how there is less need for them, but I don't think there is no need for them and I have no objections to having them

As far as the president praying or talking about God publicly I don't consider that to be a case of establishment of religion.

I also suppose you wont be surprised that I disagree about Pell grants. The money might not have been earned by the student but where it is spent is decided by the student. I see it as a grant to the student. I might agree with you if it was a case of direct funding where the government decided who would get the money but even in this case it would be the government paying a private contractor (the school) for a service (education) to an individual so I might not agree with you even here. I'll have to think about it a bit more.
