I heard that the SVR gave Correa a secret mind control and ballot stuffing program to turn the electorate socialist in return for letting them build a missile base in Ecuador, and giving the boot to the US AWACS base. He was told that in order to put the run on the Hunts and his Texas oil baron buddies all they had to do was dangle a potentially punitive tax. The Texans will walk when the money goes lower than 55 points. Then the Russkies would step in, put money in the right pockets, do a profit sharing agreement and put in for part of the gas pipeline thru Boliva in return for building a refinery and letting them have a few Mig 19's. It's all payback for Allen Dulles getting his cousin murdered in 1961. EC<:-}
