This is the way I would like this terrific baseball season to end:

Kevin Brown pitching in his 27th inning within 9 days - with the series tied 3-3 - dueling Mariano Rivera into the bottom of 9th inning leading 3-0. Of course the bases are loaded and there are two outs. Joe Torre pinch hits for Chuck Knoblauch - and up steps "the Natural" - Shane Spencer....and of course the count goes to 3-2.

Well, you get the drift.

And, this is the way I would like the Intel earnings story to play out. At options expiry - all the manipulators and hedge funds (TK, MM, LTCM et al) can't hold down Intel's underlying value. They all lose their underwear and Intel goes up 5.

If wishes were horses, I would be driving my Lamborghini Diablo at 55 mph.
