Any stock that I hold long enough in my portfolio (in a web-trading account) eventually sends me an annual report and a form to vote.

Day traders who don't have long term holdings, are less likely to get things like that.

I suspect the 212 stockholders in may99 means, they only mailed out 212 forms for the annual report. Which could mean in may 99, only 212 people have held the stock long enough to be recognized as such.

Perhaps the worst is over. The price is at 82, which at a diluted basis, is slightly below the yr high of 92.5.
