The competitors are trying to gain through the court system because they can't win by competing in the market place.

That's absolutely true. And the reason that they can't win by competing in the market place, as demonstrated and ruled in court again and again, is that Microsoft illegally subverts competition by leveraging its monopoly power to quell competitive threats.

The AG's are in this for personal gain as well.

You must be referring to those AGs who caved in to Microsoft's lobbying pressure and campaign contributions, and joined Dubya's DoJ in dropping the case for personal and political gain. You'll find little disagreement there.

If you don't see this, you are blind.
