There's been an interesting teamwork between RDRT and HMT. Does this suggest that RDRT is shipping the 6.8g GMR heads that Maxtor is using with these platters? I don't think that RDRT expected to be a primary supplier at the 6.XGB GMR level at any of their customers. I would expect that they are 2nd or 3rd at MXTR (behind TDK and maybe Alps). My info is about three months old however. I think that MXTR is a prime takeover candidate down here and WDC is in danger of going BK; therefore i am staying away from RDRT until there is some indication that things are looking up for this industry
