Nobody's going to mind you suggesting AGPH as a short. However, one of the really nice things about Silicon Investor is that there are threads. People generally contribute to them, working hard, for longed periods of time before a company gains some measure of success and attention. This thread has attracted contributions from some respected sector specialists, and some of those individuals work hard on a daily basis to monitor prescription patterns for HIV and to assign technology premiums" for preclinical pipelines.

Sector specialists don't get their estimates from Zack's.

Silicon Investor, as well as other online forums, have a real weakness. That weakness is the antagonism displayed by proponents of stocks (pick pretty much any thread) toward ANY negative criticism of that company.

The source of the antagonism is understandable. Many of the people contributing to threads already own the stock, and it simply isn't in their best interest to have any bad news spread about their company. I don't want anybody trashing a company I own stock in either.

Potential investors investigating companies for possible purchase nearly always get an unrealistically optimistic picture of the company in question.

Also, don't be too quick to denigrate Zack's estimates. Some sector specialists give their estimates to Zack's. :-)
