As far as MSFT winning the war, its kind of hard to beat up a tank when all you gots a stick. But I think there are serious eyebrows being raised in Washington about this whole deal. Do you really want the information transfer across the whole nation being controlled by one company? Gates is expanding into all areas of information disemination. If you look at what he is doing, he is building a control structure for this buy moving into TV and through that possibly radio, satalite, and cable through which he will get the phones. In other words, he will control all information transfer. OK, perhaps a little conspiricy theory mad. But the bottom line is he has a huge position in this. The government has laws that prohibit one company controlling all TV stations, so I have to think this would be considered the same in a way. So I look for some federal challenges soon. JMHO.
