Santa Rosa/Sinchao activities

El Misti Gold Ltd EMGShares issued 120763211998-01-28 close $0.48

Thursday Jan 29 1998

Mr John Huguet reports SANTA ROSA The feasibility study for Santa Rosa has taken another positive step toward the March 15 1998 completion. Australian Mining Advisers Pty has advised of encouraging recoveries and rapid dissolution rates for all size ranges tested. Recoveries ranged from 59.97% after four hours to 87.27% after 72 hours. It also appears to be a good fit for the Filblast Cyanidation System. These rates are supportive of and exceed the recoveries used in the economic model. SINCHAO A scout hole RC-7 was drilled at the eastern edge of the volcanics to a depth of 126 metres. In this hole from surface to a depth of 120 metres there is continuous mineralization, with the following averages: 120 metres of 0.73 g/t Au, 28.2 g/t Ag, 1.21% Cu and 0.45% Zn. Within these 120 metres, there is a 46 metre interval with 1.57 g/t Au, 58.05 g/t Ag and 2.39% Cu. (c) Copyright 1997 Canjex Publishing Ltd. canada-stockwatch.com
