Hi;

I heard on the business update this morning that Gruntal believes that mortgage rates are heading downward, with a slowing in the economy. In addition, they expect something about a "downward trend in mortgage rates" over the forseeable future. This isn't a quote, but it's close.

Salomon released a study that in their opinion, PC and related equipment sales have "slowed considerably" in the past several weeks. Another sign of a slowing economy, and an arrow in the theory that interest rates are heading upwards.

Her indicators have to be pointing towards bullish readings. I wonder what she will say in her next issue. I hope to be able to find a copy somewhere.

See the other post here, right next to yours, about the Granville history. I think that Elaine is having the same thing happen to her. However, I'm not sure who is the new leader now.

Be well.

Mark
