How's this for excitement! Star Resources SRR.TSE has a new project starting up that efinitely warrants watching. The company has just completed negotiations with the Sudurvik hf, an Icelandic company, to acquire an 80% interest in a vast quantity of mineral claims throughout Iceland. In a news release issued Wednesday, the company states... "Iceland's volcano geology along with fossil and active geothermal systems indicate that Iceland has a favorable metallogenetic environment for the development of epithermal deposits. Star Resources feels that any comparison between Iceland's volcano geology and that of known epithermal deposits and environments is similar enough to suggest the probability of economic epithermal precious metals deposits in Iceland." The project is obviously in the very early stages, but with management's track record in the markets, SRR.TSE definitely warrants watching closely for signs of activity again.
