Anyone:

1) What is the relationship between NUKO and CUBE/Divicom? NUKO is listed as a partner on CUBE's homepage. Any speculations on how the Westell/NUKO announcement might change this relationship?

2) In the video-on-demand trials, right now video servers are set up in Telco Central offices and compressed movies are piped down the adsl circuit where the compressed video stream hits a decompression/buffering device that is then connected to the TV. Could this same application be run over the Internet?(providing that after a number of homes are upgraded with some xDSL technology, the Internet backbone is upgraded to something in the magnitude of OC48). Is that the ultimate market for this technology, Web video servers(i.e. Blockbuster video on the web).

I was lucky enough to be a "trialee" in Bell Atlantic's trial. The quality was as good as, if not better than VCR tape quality. I believe there is lots of potential here(Web, ADSL, videoserver technology, movies, videotaped classes from major universities, etc, all where you want it, when you want it, and up to date).

What are your thoughts?
