Hey, there are good things about AMD but it seems Intel and the big retail boxmakers slammed the door on them in August.
AMD looks like it went into hibernation.
Retail evidence suggests AMDs XP production was at a crawl even though that's not likely the case. One could even suggest AMDs XP yields were less than the 25% I already suggested.

If by chance AMD STILL sold a lot of chips in Q4 then it will be a miracle.
Some say they did because they sold them to DIY and overseas. OK...then they really BLEW an opportunity to gain share by not getting XPs on retail shelves for CHRISTMAS.
Well, maybe next Q? But Q1 is slow compared to Q4. So the opportunity was lost.
