Have him pay his respects at the Peach Orchard. I have an ancestor buried in the field there, Joseph Dewitt Stroud of the 13th Mississippi, my grandmother's oldest uncle. He was killed on the second day in one of the greatest charges of the war, as was his commander, General Barksdale. I have a picture of JD Stroud in his uniform. He was about 21 years of age.
