Hey Fred,
I largely agree with what you say. I dont think that Bush is a moron. I think the pre-9/11 cowboy stuff was wrong--kyoto etc. I do believe he has been doing just fine since. I dont blame him for not blasting those caves. Chalk that up to Tommy Franks trying to use Afghans to fight our battle, believing that americans would never accept casualties. After 9/11 we certainly would have in order to have captured bin laden. In the sense that the Buck stops with Bush he is to blame as well.
I also think that saddam's elimination is essential to the long term battle against terrorists. The good cop/bad cop approach has largely worked. We will see where it all ends. And yes i do resent the clearly knee jerk reactions of bwac and zonder to every question thrown at them. Calling Bush a moron or shrub doesnt, especially by you Fred diminishes what and who you really are. I have been guilty of some name calling to at times so join the club. Mike
