Here are a few alternates: stop exporting cars to the US...no more potato products until those nasty americans pay full price for our wood..... I thought the reason they were putting a tax on our wood was because it is so cheap their own lumber industry can't compete. Isn't the dispute that the Americans want our lumber to cost more not less? I have never understood why we couldn't raise the price that Americans pay for softwood lumber, and maybe invest it in the lumber industry? Somebody from out west please explain this, particularly if they think our lumber is too expensive.
