My prediction (though I desperately hope I'm wrong): the final craven failure will be *thud* of the 'tax reform iniative'.

(Moving it off 'til sometime in '06 nearly guarantees that it is intended to be merely fodder for the political campaigns... not an honest effort at much-over-due reform.)

But, as I said, I pray that I am wrong. Perhaps the public will arise....
