The running joke used to be "You HAVE to accept/respect/forgive/support [whatever the latest drivel emanating from the Clinton henchmen was at the time] BECAUSE HE'S EVERYBODY's PRESIDENT.

He wasn't-and he never came close to fooling a majority of anybody. He was finally run off by something that we should carve in STONE in the constitution: TERM LIMITS.

But today's Democrats got their disgusting whining reputation because of Clinton. (Lanni Davis manages to be sneering and arrogant WHILE he whines. It irritates any reasonable person down to the spine-but, year after year, you begin to wonder at what inner strength it takes to sustain such insidious behavior.)

But anyone around to follow the Nixon and Reagan administrations KNEW that the Democrats would drop that above attitude toward the office like an HIV-infected needle as soon as a pro-American became president again...
