At a demonstration of the Essex Hyperfine WDM(TM) 6.25 GHz demultiplexer in conjunction with the National Fiber Optic Engineers Conference in Baltimore, MD, Len Moodispaw, President and CEO of Essex noted, ``We are very proud and excited that Agilent, a leading manufacturer of test and measurement solutions for DWDM systems and optical components, is the first outside company to conduct a lab evaluation of this new technology.''
He also stated, ``Soon we expect to receive a contract from Lockheed Martin to explore other applications for Hyperfine technology. Terms of the contract have not been finalized; a further announcement will be made when the contract is signed.''
