That was all over the news last week and I suspect had something to do with MSFT weakness.

<< Whitmore's latest research follows other published notes last week by him and by Banc of America Securities analyst Paul Fox that both said Xbox momentum was slowing after what Fox called ``an easy start.''

In response to those notes, Microsoft said last week it was pleased with sales to date and that it expected future sales to track ``usual business cycles.''

``This time of year is historically a slower time for console and game sales, so we're watching the market carefully and taking slight measures to best manage supply,'' Xbox spokesman James Bernard said last week. >>
