The Justice Department said nine states critical of its proposed anititrust settlement with Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) have the legal authority to pursue tougher remedies on their own.

Wow, there's a twist! Dubya's DoJ almost seems to be arguing on the side of justice for a refreshing change. Of course, they're not going to be the ones demanding that justice (where's the lobbying money in that?) but they sound like they're not arguing AGAINST it, and that's a breath of fresh air.
