He had just bought it...the plane...not the farm, a day or two before. He'd done some touch and goes, then was testing his radar I think. He had golfed with friends at Spyglass then went to the Monterey airport to go flying. He was up for 27 minutes as I understand it. No fight recorder, but my guess is "Oh F___!!!" or Oh Sh__!!" or "GEORGE"!!! OR just plain "F__K"!!!
