Even today, three years after the fact, none of us want to live in the kind of America that could prevent attacks like the one on 9/11.

Take a look at Russia and the events in that school over the last week. Can we really say that Putin is a weakling, and that a stronger man, a Russian version of John Kerry, could have prevented that attack?

Does Keillor really want to live in a police state, where every action by every person is scrutinized, 24/7? Does he really believe that electing Kerry will give him that police state? If so, do the rest of us want to live in that police state?

I think not. My guess is that round the clock surveillance is something that would offend Keillor beyond belief.
