Some of us own long positions and add trading positions when opportunities look favorable. One can use margins to do this with very little risk and increase our portfolio performance by good percentages. I have never lost money doing this with Intel, but have sometimes had to hold the trading position longer than I would like..just a little more cost of interest but that is tax deductable.

Just another way to play the game. BTW MSFT is another good stock to add trading positions when opportunities arise..like the last split.
