I remember that ad. That was my first election. I don't see what that has to do with what we were discussing: "two Americas: the quiet, ordinary, patriotic, religious, law-abiding Many, and the noisy, élitist, amoral, disorderly, condescending Few." That ad had to do with the fear that Goldwater was a warmonger, a loose cannon.
