bue, I looked up exacts dates. at 8 yrs old Larry norman recorded man from galiee... 1956 I wish we'd all been ready ... 1970 Why don't you look into Jesus 27 yrs ago .... 1970 You can save me in 1971 Why shuld the devil have all the good music .... 1972 the outlaw .... 1972 Watch what you are doing .... 1976 Woman of God ....1983 Living in 20th century.... 1988 This is just the first 30 yrs..... I'll leave out the last 10 yrs...some great ones there too. Sort of a Dylan of the Christian world only he gave up everything he could have had singing secular music to make sure that satan didn't still music for christians. The shame was the church threw him off the continent and he had to go to Euorpe and the rest of the world to play a rock, or blues beat with guitars and drums and etc. with christian music. This happened in 1960's. But his assignement was to give music back to the church... he was a success but it cost him everything. At the dove awards about 5 years ago Pat Boone hosted them. He annouced Larry Norman for one song and called him the Grandfather of contemporary christian music...He was 45 and pat boone was certainly he elder<g> Being envolved in the music you children listen to will reap rewards that you cannot describe.
