And, yes, lots of people get concerned about pollutants that may or do affect them.... pretty natural stuff.

And pollution is in many ways less of a problem than in the past, at least in the wealthier more developed countries, largely because of their economic growth that creates the resources needed to deal with it, and the surplus needed to get a large portion of people to care much about the issue
