Dear John:

I pray that the Lord first endow you with power from on high. When John speaks make it Lord as the thunderclap. Then Lord give John a touch that is so tender that he could touch a butterfly and it would be comforted.

Father I give you a heave offering, and his name is Steve. Though the devil would sift him as wheat we ask you to preserve him as you would next years seed. Make Steve an offering of praise to your ears in Jesus name; and then reserve a special nook in your heart that only the salvation of Steve will ever fill. Father, long for Steve's salvation. His eyes have deceived him because of the lust of life.
Show him that to live the old nature must first die and that our reward is eternal salvation and abundant life for our remaining years on this earth. Last I pray that you reveal to him whom it is that deceives him into believing satan is an angel of light. Show Steve that it is You whom have reserved him and that it is You that will not entrust his salvation to , none other than thyself. In Christ name. Amen.
