Perhaps brutality, blaming America, and praising acts like 911, isn't the way to hold folks together and create peace.

Here again, you are trying to veer it away from the main point. We are not debating whether what Saddam is is right or wrong. We debating whether what Bush's approach towards Iraq is is right or wrong. he thinks he can spread democracy in a country which has historically not been considered a single country. They will go their own way once the Big Hand (whether it is Saddam or the US, take your pick) that holds them together goes away.
