Unless you know somebody that uses Bloomberg or some service like that it is difficult to track after hours trading because not all of the news sites give you all of the information.

For example when Intel posted their quarter, E*Trade's Reuters feed reported that Intel had been halted in after hours to await the conference call. The next morning the same feed reported that Intel
had resumed trading with no first trade. An additional wire said Intel was up over five points in London. Then I'm surprised when I read this thread the next day and see that Intel was actually down two points before it halted. That report came from Dow Jones. Reuters never made any mention of this and ETrade doesn't subscribe to Dow Jones. So depending on where you get your news from, you may not get the whole story.

Unless you have a service that gives you the actual Instanet trades, there is no telling what is going on in after hours.
