Jim, What I have been able to descern... It that this is just a soap-box affair to hear yourself preach... Everybody has their own ideas... and are not moved in the least by somebodies postings... no matter how factual the posts seem to come across.... What I have been able to tell.... people can come up with total BS and make it sound like it is really happening, and is really true.... Take the KODAK buyout post from Adam Schwartz (Boothe) as an example.... And 99.99% of the readers know and understand that... and that is why everybody remains with their beliefs.... However, I know of one person... I think it was a guy named Ravi... that posted a thank-you for the postings on this board ... the facts available caused him to wait on the initial investing decision... the stock was at maybe 140ish... then fell to 70ish... went back to 103ish... then fell back to 50ish... I think he bought in at 70ish... So in a nutshell... he saved having to go through a $ 70 dollar move.. However he still invested with a long position... which is fine. That is just one person among maybe 50 people reading this board.
