"And that mitigates it how, exactly?"

Well, unless he has amnesia, he should be able to remember what things are like.

You know, like normal people.

"No, and in fact, he was provided funds from as yet unnamed sources, and clearly benefited from Affirmative Action, an option which Romney didn't have."

Right. Those "unarmed sources" were so generous he had to take student loans...

Conspiracy theories are the mark of someone who doesn't have a good grasp of reality.

Is isn't all that clear he benefited from AA. You know, just because someone has some black ancestry, it doesn't automatically mean they need AA to get anywhere.

Romney had the benefit of the old fashioned way of top prep schools and connections.

"Anyone who suggests Romney isn't "self-made" is just full of shit."

This has got to be the stupidest thing I've ever seen on the Internet. And that says an awful lot. Give me a break. He was born into a wealthy, influential family, like Smirk was. I will grant you he wasn't the major fuckup that Dubya was in business. But to call him self-made is delusional.

"While it was enacted in 1975, THAT EIC was NOTHING like today's EITC"

So? Most of those changes were under Republican administrations.
